Synseal Extrusions Ltd today agreed the purchase of the window making assets of Eagley plastics Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
"We are delighted to do this deal with Eagley. There are a number of new products such as cavity closers and new build cills that we want to offer our customers that will complement our new environmental cill range made from post consumer recycled windows. Eagley have some tooling that with some modification will be ideal for our purpose.
This acquisition will particularly accelerate our growth in the new build and commercial markets, a welcome addition to the broad range of opportunities we want to develop for our fabricator customers.
The deal will allow Eagley to focus on their core business of trade extrusion and help us to continue to grow our presence in the window market. We will be actively seeking similar opportunities in the coming months. commented David Leng the Managing Director of Synseal.
